Go ahead and try not to smile looking at these photos. I bet you can't they are so cute it hurts. 

Kai just so you know at a later date, I bribed you with cake to sit and get your picture taken with your sister.  It was a win win:) I love you girls today and everyday. 

Kai's first day of school

Kai started preschool 2 days a week at 2.5 years and so far it's tough. She has been there 3 times and it has started with tears every time. Today she did do the art portion, so that is progress. She always wants to go to school, but does not want me to leave, then continues to say as I leave "Mommy will be right back." ahhhhhhh heart break. I love you Kai.

The path Kai walks

Is not a straight line, but a meandering journey with no destination in mind. We should all live this way a little. I am often in a hurry to get from point A to point B and I forget to enjoy the ride along the way. It's a great big world with lots of wonder in-between. So live a little like Kai and do a little meandering with no destination in mind and see what there is to see.

8 months

June is 8 months and I can not believe how fast she is growing. June can crawl all over and goes where ever she wants. She is eating most table food, but has no teeth yet. She is so happy and continues to smile all the time. I love her to pieces.

Apple pie

We visited the apple orchard while Grandma Ruby was here and boy, did that turn out in our favor. We ended up with 4 pies and an apple crisp. Thank you Ruby

Apple picking

We all went apple picking today and Kai had lot's of fun finding "the good one's".  She is now a pro apple picker. June was just along for the ride, but she had fun too. Grandma Ruby was there and  enjoyed the weather and the girls.
