My girl is one

I know it is so cliché to say she grew up so fast, but she did. The last year happened in a blink of my eye. I am grateful for every single day I have with her. I am never tired of looking at her face and making her smile. It brings happiness into my heart and fills me with ahhhhh.  I am enamored at her curiosity  and exploration.  I am in love with every minute, even the hard ones. The nights she is up and my eyes wont stay open. The days she throws her plate on the floor for the umpteenth time. I am in love. I am so thankful that I was given the privilege of being a Mom. I love you Kaiana Rose. Happy birthday my brilliant, beautiful, happy, healthy girl, happy birthday.  May all your dreams come true.

Deanna Rose farm

Today we took Kai to The Farmstead and I had a blast. I think Kai liked it too, but I liked it better. I just love cows and goats, not sure why, but I do and I squeezed the heck out of them.

The Lake

We went to the lake for Easter and it was a little cold, but we had some nice days and enjoyed the family. The boys fished and caught enough to eat and it was yummy as always. Kai and I had fun feeding the ducks. Mom, Grandma, Kai and I went shopping and I found some cute stuff at J Crew. It was a great start to a summer at the Lake.

Happy Spring

Kai, today was supposed to be your first Easter Egg hunt in the park, but it snowed 8 inches. That made finding Eater eggs a little difficult. Don't you worry your pretty little head you, will have an Easter egg hunt next weekend.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did in the past and still do. Finding Easter eggs never gets old.

roomba

We bought a roomba awhile ago and I have to admit I thought it was a silly idea. Wyatt thought it was a good idea since Kai was putting everything in her mouth. I have it set to vacuum every night and when I wake up the floors are clean. It has a little canister and all I have to do is dump it daily. I have vacuum lines in the carpet every morning and that makes me a happy girl. Go Roomba Go...

Warm Day

We had a few warm days last week so the family went to the park.  Kai had fun on the swing and the slide. Mom and Dad had fun watching their girl smile.
