 Kai learned how to doggie paddle in the pool this year. It was a lot of hard work for her and we still have a long ways to go, but making progress. Go Kai!!

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July we had a great week at the lake. I am so thankful to spend time with the family.

4th weekend

The 4th was filled with family love, boating and fishing. The weather could have been a little better but we made the best of it. Spent every minute outside when it was not raining.

Face painting fun

It's the first time I let the girls get their face painted and they loved it. I'm not sure I am in love with the face paint as I was scrubbing it off before bed. 

New pet

A slug. Yep, a slug. I'm still waiting on a dog so in the meantime I guess the slug that came with my plant will have to do. He has been around about a week. I guess we better name him. The girls like him and I think he is neat too. I'll have to find him a shell. 

Summer time

I love love the summer concert series at Park place. I get to watch the girls dance then we share some icecream. A perfect summers night.
