Ho ho ho

Kai wanted nothing to do with Santa again this year and I'm Ok with that. Kai is slow to warm up to new situations. I always need about a 30 minute buffer before Kai will leave my side and go have some fun. I expected this with Santa, but she is not shy in telling me what presents Santa should bring her, such as a pink puppy, scissors, computer and a mop.  June on the other hand has not gotten any stranger anxiety. She loves everyone.

She had this headband on for about 5 sec. She will not keep
headbands on and you all know how I feel about that.
I love headbands!

More Chicago

While in Chicago it was a must to try out a fancy donut shop.
Yes, it was good. Kai has my affinity for donuts.

Date night!

I made reservations for a restaurant with little food.
It was good and really little. It would be easy to
leave hungry.

Quail eggs

The best. I wanted 2. Some tomato thing.

Spaghetti and raw egg

The candy store

I had many of these this week.

Chicago

We went on an extended vacation to see family in Minnesota and Iowa, then went to visit Chicago because Daddy had a meeting. It was a lot of road time and half way through Kai got gastroenteritis then Daddy and June got it. I was thankful it was the 24 hour bug and did not last too long. Everyone got healed up and we headed for the train to Chicago. We stayed at the Trump which was really nice with an amazing view.  We were all glad Nana went to help out.

A TV in the mirror which I kinda liked.

Kai liked the big bed

Lots to see out the window

10 months

She has a tooth! My little June finally got her first tooth. She is also standing on her own for a few seconds. Still loves to smile and wants to be held. Everything is going in her mouth and she loves to open the cabinets.
