Mushroom hunting

Daddy has waited 2 years to take Kai mushroom hunting and she had a blast. It was like an Easter egg hunt and you both loved it. 

Wyatt's birthday week

Wyatt's birthday weekend was filled with all his favorite foods and mushroom hunting, his favorite hobby. Happy Birthday my love. I love you, Wyatt.

June is the sweetest girl. She is so quite, always happy and likes to be snuggled. She loves her thumb, which is usually found in her mouth. I love you June.

Maelani Walk

It is time for the March for Babies walk. I love this day. We raise money to help the babies and we remember Maelani. We do what we said we would do and remember her through small acts of kindness. We walk with family and friends for a untied purpose, that all babies get here healthy. I love this day and I am thankful and full of joy that I have family and friends to support a cause so close to my heart. When you see 3:33 remember to smile, be thankful and incite a small act of kindness, this world will be better because of Maelani. You are loved my little angel, you are missed my little girl and your Momma holds you in her heart every minute of every day. I walk for you.

June at 3 months

Juniper Rose, you are smiling and cooing all the time, which makes me happy. Your cheeks are so kissable. I kiss them a million times a day. You sat in the bumbo seat for the first time and did pretty well holding up your head.  I still have you sleeping by my bed because I just can't let you grow up too fast, but you only wake up one time during the night to eat. You love to be held, but don't mind playing on the play mat.  Your sister likes to smother you, so we have to watch you very closely while you are playing. We love you very much Juniper Rose, thank you for bringing joy to my day.

Love the Lake

Kai likes the lake too. I'm not sure if she loves her beach yet, but I hope she loves it soon.  The ducks are so tame they eat out of her hand, which she thinks is pretty cool.  We are getting another truck load of sand to expand our beach and I can't wait. Love the beach, all of them.

While at the lake we took Kai out for breakfast at one of our favorite places and she read the menu from top to bottom. Breakfast is her favorite meal of the day. 

It all sounds so good.

June wanted to make her sister proud and pull out her best Hulk moves. She did well. 

June's first week at the lake

We had great weather, a perfect little beach and the week flew by. Wyatt and Dad caught Crappie and hunted mushrooms, while Mom and I held June and wrangled a toddler. Life is good. 

Easter

Easter was so much fun this year. Kai was excited about the egg hunts and it was so much fun to watch her put her treasures in her basket. The Easter bunny  put one Mm or one jelly bean in most of her eggs and she loved opening them to get her treat. I loved seeing her smile. Kai you are an amazing 2 year old and bring joy to our family. June, you slept through the egg hunt,  but I bet next year you will give Kai a run for her money. You have the sweetest little smile and chubby cheeks right now. I Love you girls.
