Juniper Rose

Juniper Rose Hadley was born on 1-27-2014 at 1334. I so wish they would have written down 1333. O well, pretty close. She was 5 lb 5 oz and 17 3/4 inches tall and perfect in every way. I left the hospital on Wednesday and the best part of that was Juniper got to come home with us. Now that is an amazing feeling.

36 weeks

36 weeks! I am so happy to say that I have come this far in my pregnancy. I am thankful, but always wanting more. I wonder what would it be like to go to 40 weeks. Greedy I know, but having a baby early even at 36 weeks I worry about not being able to bring her home with me. I want that experience where the baby stays in the room with Mom and Dad and she is not connected to wires and tubes. A baby that knows how to eat and breath at the same time. Wyatt says 3rd time is a charm, so we shall see. Please Baby Hadley do all the things that babies are supposed to do, eat, breath, stay warm and all that good stuff. Baby Girl Hadley on the day you are going to be born the wind chill  is negative 15,brrrrr. The sun is out and you will soon be here to warm my heart.

Swimzips on Shark Tank

My friend and her partner will be on Shark Tank this Friday! Betsy Johnson is one of the founders of SwimZip. I truly love these suits. I used to buy Janie and Jack  swimsuits because I thought they were so cute. That was until I had to get Kai in them and then out of them to change her diaper.  Now,  Kai only wears SwimZips. They have 50 UV protection,  easy on, easy off. I do not have to take the suit over her head or pull the whole thing down to change her diaper. I don't have to worry about her shoulders and back getting sun burnt and on top of all that good stuff they are super cute! So, head over to the SwimZip web site to check them out and don't forget to watch Shark Tank on Friday on ABC and cheer Betsy on!

34 weeks

Welp, I made it to 34 weeks before I was put on bedrest. Thank goodness it's not strict bed rest. I can be up 2 hours then lying down 2 hours. My fluid level is low which is why I have to lie down and drink lots of water. They plan to recheck the fluid on Monday. I hope it goes above a 5. I will do anything to keep this baby out of the NICU. The NICU recently changed their visitor policy so that only parents can visit at certain times and no one else. This is completely unacceptable to me that grandparents would not be able to see their new grandchild. So I am accepting all good energy this way that baby girl is going to be healthy at 36 weeks and come home with us!

Valentines day wreath

I have been looking for a Valentines day wreath for quite awhile because I am nesting and want everything done before the baby arrives.  I went to Hobby Lobby and bought all the hearts and flowers pre made.  I then glued all the hearts and flowers on to the wreath with a glue gun and presto. Done. It took about 30 minuets and was 25 dollars.

Baby's Room

I finally got the baby girl's room together. I'm just waiting on a few items I ordered from Etsy. I am in love with this room. I love every little detail and the items in this room.  Now in a few weeks it will be filled with snuggles and love.

I made this after I saw one at the holiday boutique.

I got this off Etsy. Love it

Pillows from Marshalls. I added the bows

The dress on the left was mine from when I was little and the one
on the right is what Kai came home in.
We will add baby girls as soon as she is home in a few weeks.

The little table is from Target
and the lamp from Hobby Lobby.

Silver hair brush and mirror I found at an antique store

Antique dresser found at an estate sale.

The doll is a custom doll that is hand sewn. You get to pick the
hair and clothes. I love them and own a few.

I love the Artist N.A Noel. She did the art above the bed. I had the
one in the middle (Grace) for over 10 years and just had it rematted.

The bed skirt is from Etsy and the crib sheet is from pottery barn.
Basket of book by the rocking chair is all ready for story time.

The baby rocker was also found at an antique store

Headbands

I am pretty sure I'm nesting. I feel like I need to get all this stuff done. Including, cleaning bathrooms and making headbands. I made all these headbands and then bragged to Wyatt how I was "saving so much money." I them turned around and bought her hats on Etsy. Not my fault, I don't know how to crochet.
